TermezState University is one of the biggest universities in Uzbekistan, located in the City of Termez in the southern region of Surkhandarya. It was reorganized on February 28, 1992, based on the Termez State Pedagogical Institute which has been functioning since 1954. The university has a long history and is considered a cradle of civilization with roots dating back 2500 years.
